(RTTNews) - rue21, inc., a specialty apparel retailer, announced that it currently estimates pricing initial public offering of 6.76 million shares of common stock between $16.00 and $18.00 per share.

The company said it is offering 1.65 million shares of common stock, and certain selling stockholders are offering 5.12 million shares in the offering. The company said it intends to apply to list its common stock on The NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol "rue".

It is to be noted that Funds advised by Apax Partners, BNP Paribas North America, Inc. are the main stockholders of rue21.
